Workplace pressure can come from excessive demands, unclear roles, limited control or a lack of support. A breathing practice cannot resolve every problem in how work is organised.
Separate what you can influence
Write down the demands that are using the most capacity. Identify one you can change yourself and one that needs a conversation with a manager, colleague, occupational health service or other support.
Make the next request concrete
Clarifying priorities, discussing a deadline or protecting a realistic break can be more useful than telling yourself to cope better. Consider your workplace circumstances and choose a safe, practical route for raising concerns.
Support recovery around the work
Allow a transition after work where possible. Notice sleep opportunity, meals and manageable movement. These foundations can support you while broader issues are addressed; they do not make harmful conditions acceptable.
If work is affecting your health or daily functioning, seek professional support. Repair offers education and habit practice around prolonged load, alongside the human and organisational help you may need.
